| A LITTLE BIT ABOUT WHO I AM: I really believe that whatever you do, do it with passion & conviction, pursuing excellence in everything. This belief is what I try to apply to my Photography business & each Great Danes breeding. What I can tell you, is that I love Great Danes & have a passion for them. My love for them started in 1985, when my husband & I purchased our first Great Dane, a "BMW Graffiti" daughter. She was our pet only, we had no interest in showing as I was heavily involved with showing & breeding my Arabian horses. (Danes are like "chips"...you just can't have ONE). From the beginning, I was engrossed with learning everything possible about structure, quality, pedigree & what makes a Great Dane, just that. My extensive horse background, gave me the extra advantage of understanding breeding & pedigrees & how that translates to structure. I learned from my wonderful horse mentors that we can't just breed "on paper"....that it's critual to get out & see the dogs(& horses) in person. Besides the obvious, is the animal a healthy animal, physically & mentally......along with seeing the conformation in person.......I found it invaluably necessary to evaluate a horse or dog in person because it allows a person to develops a "eye" that is essential in becoming a great student in application & reality on how pedigree on paper, is translated to the living breathing animal. Through the years, my danes have afforded me many many wonderful experiences, including having a BIG extended family of dane clients & friends. In 2007, I joined forces with Kelly Weidner of KRW Danes because of our common goals & love of the breed. Since that time, we have become the best of friends, relying on each other, encouraging each other & challenging each other in all things related to our love of this wonderful breed. We share the common goal to produce healthy, long lived Great Danes, with wonderful temperaments, adhearing to the AKC standard. Kelly & I believe that joining forces has built strength to both of our breeding programs & together we feel there is strength in our combined breedings of Harlequins, Mantles, Blues & Blacks. We enlist both Western & Eastern medicines, along with Chiropractic, acupuncture & homeopathy in the treatment in our dogs. We believe in feeding "quality" food, concervative vaccination & treatments, along with high quality supplements. Neither of us have kennels, our dogs are an active part of our families, living in our homes & apart of our daily lives. We really do believe that you get out, what you put in....so, we expect excellence from our dogs because we provide that for them.
